Southbound Auto Train with NS Leader

Due to engine problems, Amtrak #53 was over 5 hours late. Norfolk Southern ES40DC #7599 was added at Savannah, Georgia. This video shows the train going through Hilliard, Florida on the CSX Nahunta Subdivision at 11:30am this morning.

Nice video. Neat catch.

If you asked me what equipment I'd never, ever expect to see on Auto Train, an NS locomotive would be near the top of the list.
