"Like a Brilliant Shooting Star..."

It sure seemed that way, when Amtrak P42DC #189 flew past me, leading the northbound Texas Eagle train #22. He must have been doing at least 60 MPH, likely more. Enjoy the video!

in the cab on the corridor when the train slows from say 125 to 60 i just wanna yawn cause it feels like a tortoise ...

I calculate about 67 miles per hour, based on 6.03 seconds for seven 85 foot Superliner cars to pass a given point.
