Norfolk Southern, like the other class one roads, should be ashamed of the way this caboose (shoving platform) looks as for the small amount of money to be spent on keeping these things looking nice, and most likely getting a tax break for painting safety messages on them, the greedy bean counters on these railroads don't care about how horrible these pieces of equipment appear.  Paint each one of these vehicles with railroad "Safety Messages" under Operation Life Savor for grade crossing safety and for keeping trespassers off the railroad properties.
