Eastern Railroad Discussion > Q009-24Date: 03/23/17 18:17 Q009-24 Author: CSXQ090FAN HI Folks its been reportted on Facebook that the Q009-24 haves for power out of N.J tonight the CREX 1518-1525 ES44ACs for Power. Just thought I would give a heads up. It might be the same power that the Q010 had on the 22nd. I seen them on the Q710 on Tuesday.

Date: 03/23/17 19:40 Re: Q009-24 Author: WJEX That is the stupidist train symbol system ever conceived. Unless you have a score card. You
have no idea what the train is, where it originated or where its end destination is. Also what day of the month is began its journey. The poster also makes no reference as to where this was observed. Sounds like two friends talking on the phone. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 03/23/17 19:44 by WJEX. Date: 03/23/17 19:46 Re: Q009-24 Author: cornerfieldhobby WJEX Wrote:

It's CSX Westbound Intermodal Q009. It generally reaches Ohio before 5PM most or all the time. Also, I'm not talking to him like a phone, I just wanted to point out to keep a heads up. ------------------------------------------------------- > have no idea what day of the month it began its journey. The full symbol is Q009-24... So far as origin/destination, it's not much different than it was years ago... As mentioned before it was once Q109... Pretty certain for Conrail it was TV-99, and it was Erie Lackawanna NY-99 before that... Date: 03/24/17 03:30 Re: Q009-24 Author: biff What makes this symbol stupid compared to any other railroads ? If you don't have a list of symbols, any train on any railroad could be considered stupid using your logic.
