All About 'dat Brake

One of my favorite things about going to the west slope is how often trains have to stop at some point. Last weekend on my trip out to Cresson, I wasn't disappointed. Coal train 534 stopped at the MO signals, so I took advantage of my "video skills" (yeah, I have few) and captured braking up the grade and then starting up again!

I'm confused? Did you mean to say braking? "Breaking" would infer a draw bar pulling out, broken knuckle or other catastrophic event.

534 goes to Strawberry Ridge and they only send SD60I's up there on coal runs.
