A summer Wednesday on 2 foot East Södermanland Ry

Passed the small town Mariefred last week. A lot of tourists this time of the year (with a high percentage of Germans). Watched the noon train to Taxinge leaving Läggesta. The engine in the background is waiting to head end the local back to Mariefred.

Sorry John, you have to go further North, pass Denmark. It's in Central Sweden some25 miles West of Stockholm. The tourist line celebrated it's 50´s anniversary in 2008 maiking it one of the older world-wide.

Thanks Tom! Looks like we both visited Mariefred RR the same day (judging from the crew of the train, unless they are there every day), just at different time!
