Notice the thick brush on the hillsides. According to Chard Walker, when
this video was made in June, 2001, this area in the vicinity of Hill 582
had not burned since 1964. In 2002 this area burned all the way up to
the I-15 freeway, and now the recent Blue Cut fire has burned it again.
