Love the close-ups of the crew and the various parts of the running gear. What a locomotive! Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 11/25/16 15:08 by Margaret_SP_fan. Bob Krieger Cheyenne, WY Date: 11/25/16 08:23 Re: Union Pacific 3895 Millican to Bryan, Texas 1995 Author: Frisco1522 Just one more of the things I sorely miss. Great engine, great crew and good times. Nosebleed speeds and a little rod noise.
Miss that as much as I do 1522. Date: 11/25/16 14:29 Re: Union Pacific 3895 Millican to Bryan, Texas 1995 Author: nycman Neil, thanks for another terrific UP video. A lot of the time when at track speed, the two sets of drivers seem to be "in synch." I know, unlike twin airplane engines, there is no way the engineer can synch the drivers. Is it just an illusion due to the speed, or does it just sort of happen by itself? I have noticed this phenomenon on videos of other dual drivered locomotives.
