Steam & Excursion > 05-20-16 C&TSRR track a little East of Chama (Video)

Goal = Go West from launching point and get to the center of the track and then turn around and follow the track Eastbound and then turn the drone around and continue Eastbound in reverse. This is the best one of 3 attempts.

Bottom Line: More practice is needed.

I am trying to practice everyday. With the extended antennas I have it is suppose to be 2 miles.

My plan is when a train is using the Y I want to do a video.

Hey Roger, Glad your back for another season of  covering  the C&TSRR . Hope you still have that tape of that bunch of pickers doing "Life is like a mountain railroad.  Those drone shots with that playing in the background .smoothes me out like a cat in a creamery . Looking forward to seeing more of your excellent work this year.

     With the music I was sure Rocky or some similar character was going to come running out of the trees somewhere.

Speaking of music... Any chance of David Clayton Thomas singing the original on one of your flights? Excellent as always, looking for another year of fantastic stuff !
