Steam & Excursion > 4501 makes an unexpected stop in Rex, Ga. todayDate: 10/01/15 14:18 4501 makes an unexpected stop in Rex, Ga. today Author: crescent Southern 4501 deadhead move to Atlanta today made an unexpected stop in the historic town of Rex, Ga. to make a repair of some kind.....May have been the whistle since we didn't hear it at the other grade crossing 1/4 mile away......Then she resumed her trip and put on a good steam show for the crowd!!

I'll have to see her soon or ride behind her one day.

Drove down from Chattanooga & rode 4501 in Macon last week with my son on his NS pass. Always a good time riding the rails behind steam! I'll catch her when she comes home to TVRM just down the street from my house.
