Western Railroad Discussion > Rock Train With Conveyor Heads Up The CoastDate: 01/07/17 18:35 Rock Train With Conveyor Heads Up The Coast Author: walstib For the second time in as many days, a loaded ballast train ran up the coast.
Yesterday, it was a red and white Herzog train with side dumps on each car. They tied down at Guadalupe last night, and today they spread ballast from there, north toward San Luis Obispo. Today, it was a GREX train with a conveyor that transports rocks to machines at either end of the train, and the rocks are distributed from there. Here's today's train rolling through Santa Barbara about 4 p.m. You must be a registered subscriber to watch videos. Join Today! |
