Western Railroad Discussion > Drone Railfanning BNSF St Croix SubDate: 11/27/16 20:12 Drone Railfanning BNSF St Croix Sub Author: kelarson I am new to drone videography. Here is a video of a westbound train running on the BNSF St Croix sub near Cochrane, WI. I am still learning the art of drone flying, and tend to be conservative with my drone. Hope you enjoy!

Some time ago I thought the perfect railfan vehicle would be a four wheel drive truck with a manlift. Scratch that; all you need is a drone now. Edited 1 time(s). You're doing well with your drone. Don't fly too close to the edges of the air. (Old aviators joke) If you are not aware, Roger Hogan posts many fine drone videos on the TO Steam forum. You may want to take a look at his stuff, pretty good and always willing to share. Thanks for posting and keep up the good work!
