How many carats is this diamond?
Author: pyroman

One more video from last October of the new Grand Crossing (La Crosse, WI)  diamond being moved into place for the CP and BNSF.

For those interestedthe camera for this is a Canon 70D and does a far job as video when I don't want to carry the Canon M31 (or as secondary when chasing the Holiday Train).

PS. the snow storm turn out to be nothing but 5 inches of wet snow.

Thanks for sharing, very interesting.

Heard on the radio: "OK, who dumped that gravel pile right there?"

One ton equals 5,535,926 carats.  Just figure out what it weighs in tons and you can easily convert it.

Nice video.  Not a real action shot but interesting content.

That's one way to roll over the diamonds!
