SD40 Trio and 100+ Cars

For quite a while I've been trying to catch the WAMX SKOL 205 job north out of Owasso, OK bound for Cherryvale, KS. The train only runs north Monday and Thursday and comes back overnight Tuesday and Saturday as 204. We attempted to catch it Monday but due to the rail topping temps of 135 degrees the railroad was shut down till 21:00. Thurday we attempted again, this time with TTownTrains and the train made it out on time after going on at 19:00. It was quite an impressive train, traveling with 3 units and 108 counted cars, mainly covered hoppers and tank cars.

1) Just before sunset, the train crosses 97th E Ave about 3 miles north of the Owasso yard

2) Making the cut between 97th and 106th st N, the power comes up to MP76, the older sign being former Santa Fe

3) A video of most action, first clip from location of photo 1 & 2 (please excuse Alex who claimed not to see the tripod) clip 2 taken in downtown Collinsville, OK. Shortened both clips due to time restrictions
For those interested, full video at youtube under "Chasing SKOL 205"

2 more:

1) Coming down the line that once hosted passenger service from Kansas City to Tulsa at 90mph, the train wonders down the main now only good for 10mph

2) Crossing the main drag in Collinsville, OK
