Drone Foaminng Woodford Tehachapi Pass

Video taken on the first day of a 4 day trip to Tehachapi Pass with TO members Curt, Cajon92 and non TO member Metal Mike.
We are at Woodford around 10:40am, 04/08/15.  Curt has the trackside camcorder and I'm flying a DJI Phantom 2 with a GoPro Hero 3+.  For those interested the original video from both camcorders were shot at 1920 x 1080p 60 fps and edited using Adobe Premiere Pro.

Good combination of aerial and ground video. It looks like a cloudy day with some sun breaking through is best for that type of video so you don't have to deal with the sun glare when you turn the camera position .

Excellent video as usual, George, and I see you put in the Hitchcock touch too!!!

I think this has been asked before, but what's the range of the drone?  It would have been
interesting to watch the train go through the horseshoe between Woodford and Walong.  
And it's certainly a lot cheaper than the helicopter Todd rented a couple of years ago!

Very well done! I have truly enjoyed all of the drone videos I have seen on TrainOrders.

I would love to see somebody venture up to Dunsmuir and catch a train on Cantara Loop using the same video set up.
