On top of photos while along the Needles Sub a week ago Friday ( April 3, 2015), I also tried out the Canon 70D video capabilties throughout the day. Here's an evening video of Amboy Crossing and a meet between a westbound Roadrailer and a eastbound Stacker.

Okay, you can call this nitpicking if you like, but there is an important
distinction to be made here.  The westbound is NOT a Roadrailer.  It's the
last all piggyback train on the BNSF, the WSPSBD train.  Roadrailers
do NOT have railcars under the trailers.  As I read the introduction before
watching the video, I was wondering what a Roadrailer was doing out in
California.  

Nitpicking aside, I did enjoy watching the video and was really please when
you caught the signal change for the eastbound.  I can't count the number
of times I've seen photographers not stay with the shot to catch this.  Thanks
for that!

That came out pretty good. Having the larger lens than a video cam helps.

Great video! Awesome to see trains meet at speed.
