Passenger Trains > 5&6 in Eastern UtahDate: 05/06/24 17:05 5&6 in Eastern Utah Author: Paniolo_man I spent the weekend camping around Sego, I managed to snag a decent video of Saturday's #5 and Sunday's #6 in the area. On my way down I stopped along the tracks near Green River to take a stroll and enjoy the sunshine. While I was there a trooper pulled up and informed me that the railroad has been unhappy with people hanging around the tracks recently. I promised to keep my distance from the tracks and he went on his way.

I'll attach a few pictures of the scenery. Date: 05/06/24 21:33 Re: 5&6 in Eastern Utah Author: chakk There are also some ancestral drawings on a mesa "wall" just north of Thompson Springs, which I learned about many years ago from an AC on Number 6 -- back in the days when Amtrak personnel on the CZ provided a bit of local commentary during their run.
I later visited those markings during a later auto drive through eastern Utah. The figures have a certain "outer space aliens" look to them. Hakk Date: 05/06/24 21:37 Re: 5&6 in Eastern Utah Author: Paniolo_man chakk Wrote:
