Eastern Railroad Discussion > Dreary Day on the NS Reading LineDate: 05/05/24 17:36 Dreary Day on the NS Reading Line Author: dschlegel This weekend has been an almost carbon copy of last weekend as far as the weather goes. Rainy/misty/damp and generally raw with temps in the low 50's.
I did get out a bit this morning though. Here's the 19G westbound on the single track at Blandon, PA. More to come.......... You must be a registered subscriber to watch videos. Join Today! Here is 11N at the Franklin St. crossing. One more....... Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 05/05/24 17:41 by dschlegel. You must be a registered subscriber to watch videos. Join Today! Have a great week everyone! Dan You must be a registered subscriber to watch videos. Join Today! Date: 05/05/24 18:08 Re: Dreary Day on the NS Reading Line Author: Lackawanna484 Thanks for the pictures. H44 looks like a pretty nice train. Is that a typical length?
Thanks (Cute dog, by the way!) Date: 05/05/24 18:25 Re: Dreary Day on the NS Reading Line Author: dschlegel Lackawanna484 Wrote:

This is a typical H44, lots of mixed freight including coil steel cars and RBMN anthracite. Video 1 looks like an MSC (Mediterranean Shipping Corp) container in the field? Do my eyes deceive me or am I seeing correctly? Video 2 has an unusual crossing gate attachment to the pole at this location. Video 3: Dixie seems to be saying "can we go home now?" jb Date: 05/06/24 18:53 Re: Dreary Day on the NS Reading Line Author: MdRailfan BoeJoe: I may be wrong, but it appears that the container is on a chassis possibly sitting in a parking lot or business out of sight of the pic.
