Short lived CSX Q101(video) 5-2-17

CSX ran a pair of intermodals between Chicago & Nashville back in 2017. Q101 &102 were the new trains and I think it was to lure in some UPS traffic on top of other traffic using the new corridor. Evidently the business never met the expectations so eventually the trains were dropped.
Here is Q101 coming up on the GoPro at our private crossing just south of Vincennes, IN. 5-2-17

Interesting perspective.   How was the camera secured to keep it from turning/tilting/etc.?

Set it on the ballast and not on a tie is one way

Two metal straps, four wood screws and a cordless drill.

we had a 102 and 101 run between Jacksonville and New Orleans here thur Northwest Fla
They did good tor themself.. untill CSX wanted all the business to go thur Atlanta;
even had a New Orleans to Atlanta train 144 and 145......but when they could not
get thur in New Orleans they (CSX) combine the two and moverd them to Memphis......
Along with closing the ramps at Mobile and New Orleans.....the brains moved the
hold show to Atlanta;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

CSX Killed the whole NW Florida subdivision. Rumor had it did not want to install PTC. 12 trains a day plus xtras at the height of business.
Not only did we have Q101 and 102, we also had Q105 and 106, another pair of trains. On the L&N we called them TOTE trains from back in the day when the L&N started the service. TOTE stood for Trailer on Train Express.
We had a time when the former NYS&W power were regulars. Good power to run.
