Erskine, MN-to-Tacoma, WA loaded grain train passing Grand Forks.
Author: jmulhol2

An Erskine (loop track at the "CHS Inc. - Erskine Grain Terminal, LLC" grain elevator) --to-- Tacoma ("Tacoma Export Marketing Company (TEMCO)" grain facility) westbound loaded unit grain shuttle train in a conventional 3x0 power configuration is seen here halting to a stop at the far west end of the BNSF Grand Forks, ND, train yard on the "passenger main track" during the rainy and cloudy mid-afternoon hours of 05/02/2024. The crew on this train would pause momentarily while awaiting an eastbound local to arrive back into the yard off the BNSF Devils Lake Subdivision before taking off westbound to shuttle the train a few miles down the track to Emerado, ND, to tie down until an outbound Minot, ND-based crew could come untie the train and continue westbound.
