H-GFDGAL manifest through cool and misty night past MOW equipment
Author: jmulhol2

A pair of C4's in a 2x0 power configuration drag this 102-car Grand Forks, ND --to-- Galesburg, IL eastbound (geographically southbound) mixed manifest freight train past MP96 on the BNSF Hillsboro Subdivision in Grand Forks, ND, amid the cloudy, misty, and cool nighttime hours of 04/26/2024. Note in the background is some form of maintenance-of-way (MOW) equipment sitting on a spur track. The MOW engine, SPS ("Self-Powered Slot") GREX ("Georgetown Rail Equipment Company") #6001, which is a re-built EMD DE10 that was originally built in 06/1950, was attached to a LORAM "SlotMachine".

Train symbol: H-GFDGAL

Power:
BNSF #8164 (GE ES44C4; built: ??/2014)
BNSF #6670 (GE ES44C4; built: ??/2011)
